From our initial beginnings in 1958 as an embossing company based in California, DYMO has grown to be a company with global reach. The company was acquired by Esselte in 1978. Now, however, we are part of a Newell Rubbermaid since 2005, a Fortune 100 company. Since that, we have broadened our product lines to include contact management software and business card scanning solutions, mailing and shipping scales and online postage. In the coming years, we plan to continue this expansion into other areas where we see the possibility of making people’s jobs easier through innovative technology solutions.  Today, DYMO offers a complete range of labelling products - from simple embossers to PC connected label printers and every manual, hand-held and portable in between. DYMO label makers are widely used in the home, office and in many industrial and vertical applications such as bar-coding, wire and cable marking, colour matching, medical instrumentation and security.
